Company Dress Rehearsal April 2010

Our Company dancers spent Sunday afternoon in dress rehearsal for Teen Modern, Teen Jazz, Teen Tap, Teen Hip Hop, Teen Lyrical, Production, Jr Hip Hop and Jr Tap. Our first full Company competition of the season is this weekend, April 16-18 in Walled Lake. Good luck dancers!

April is turning out to be quite a busy month around the studio...

April 2 - 8 SPRING BREAK!!

April 9 Classes Resume, Latin Ballroom for Adults 7:00-8:00pm

April 11 Company Dress Rehearsal, 12:00-4:30pm. Full costumes, hair, makeup, accessories, tights and shoes. No excuses!

April 16 - 18 BRAVO Dance Competition - Good luck dancers!!

April 19 - 24 Watch Week - Parents are invited to sit in on dance classes all week. Cameras and video cameras welcome!

April 23 Dance performance at Brookfield Academy in Livonia, 6:30-8:30pm

April 26 - May 1 BRING A FRIEND TO DANCE WEEK!! In honor of National Dance Week, all dancers are invited to share their love of dance with their friends.

In honor of National Dance Week, we're asking our students to share their love of dance. Every dancer is asked to bring a friend with them to dance the week of April 26 - May 1. Friends get to join in on the fun and fully participate in class.

Looked like trouble when one of our jazz dancers showed up with her hair painted green and white for College Spirit Week and another wearing her blue and gold.

It's Adrenaline Weekend!

Our Senior Company (competitive dance group) will be spending this weekend at the Adrenaline Dance Convention and Competition at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn. Their days will be packed with master dance classes with teachers like Sonya Tayeh, Chris Dupree, Phlex, Joey Tarwater and Nick Zborowski, scholarship auditions, solo, duo and group competition and the Best of Show performances.

This is our first competition of the season and the dancers are going to be amazing. Good luck everyone!
